Event Content Delivery

On-site coverage requires more than capturing what happens on the field. It requires understanding the people, narratives, and broader context behind each sporting moment.

Drawing on my experience as a sports journalist, I have covered major international competitions, interviewed athletes and stakeholders, and produced content that connects event experiences with wider themes such as athlete development, sports business and the growth of global sports communities.

On-site Coverage @ 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics

As the designated on-site reporter for Titan Sports at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, I produced 4 cover-featured stories and 30+ in-depth analyses across six major winter sports disciplines. Working from the competition venues, I went beyond match results and athlete performances to explore the broader stories shaping the Games.

My coverage examined key narratives including the rapid growth of women’s freestyle skiing in China, Eileen Gu’s influence on young women’s participation in winter sports, the Kamila Valieva doping case and its implications for athlete welfare and figure skating culture, as well as the wider context surrounding short track speed skating.

Beyond written reporting, I also adapted on-site insights into multi-platform content, including live commentary for Ximalaya and Sohu Sports, and 20 short-form video explainers for Tencent Sports. Videos covering the Valieva case generated 600K+ views, while other Olympic content maintained an average of 100K views during the Games.
